Hey, I'm Adam.

Stario is the result of my journey through web development as a mostly Python backend engineer learning how to build full-stack apps. I started out worried I'd need React or another front-end–heavy framework; I went through HTMX and finally found a comfortable home with Datastar.

Along the way I went deeper into HTTP and how servers actually work than I ever had before—tried hundreds of ideas that felt right at the time—and ended up here: Stario, a framework that tries to stay as small and as far out of your way as possible.
